Our father often read us Claude M. Steiner’s A Warm Fuzzy Tale when we were young.
After he read it– he’d always ask us to throw a warm fuzzy (something nice) or a cold prickly (something not so nice) to each other. One by one, we’d create an imaginary ball and toss it. Most of the time we’d choose to throw a warm fuzzy, but sometimes –some of us– chose instead to throw a cold prickly. If we chose a cold prickly, our Dad would say, “Are you sure about that cold prickly? It’s a lot easier to be kind. But– it’s your choice.”
Instead of celebrating the holidays–there are the Bah, humbug! types– who outfit themselves with an arsenal of cold pricklies. These Scrooges may soon be headed to your home.
Here are some ways for you to stay in the warm, fuzzy zone:
Before the grumpy-grumps arrive–light some natural wood or resin incense. It will create a relaxing environment.
You can also protect yourself from the prickly thoughts (psychic attacks) of others–by dabbing vetiver essential oil on the back of your neck. Wearing a scarf can help too.

Another tactic: wear bright colors–which naturally block cold pricklies.

At the dinner table– BE PREPARED–there might be someone who still wants to throw cold pricklies your way.
Imagine drawing the infinity symbol on the palms of your hands, around your eyes and especially around the four directions of the room.
